AbstractTwo patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis with permanent indwelling peritoneal catheters who developed Candida albicans peritonitis are presented. Both patients were successfully treated with low dose intravenous amphotericin B. Sequential candida precipitin assays were performed and the diagnostic application is discussed.
