Abstract

Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) intends to participate in the Cross Hemispheric Partnerships by developing the first two courses of a minor in Latin American Studsies with a specific emphasis on Afro-Latinos. The first course will include an overview of Latin America with emphasis on the culture and geography of Afro-Latinos throughout the Americas. The second Course will include an in-depth analysis of Afro-Latinos in Mexico.
