Research Statement: Todd A. Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes and Policy and Co-Director of the Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomic Research in the College of Pharmacy. The primary focus of his research is related to the use of medications with interest in both safety related issues (pharmacoepidemiology) and costs associated with medication use (pharmacoeconomics) and the intersection of the two disciplines in the area of comparative effectiveness research. The majority of his research has been in the area of chronic respiratory disease, with a particular interest in COPD. In addition, he is currently conducting work that focuses on patient outcomes amongst those with co-occuring multiple chronic conditions and the delivery of care to these patients.
