Why may your profile need to be refined?
The first part of our process is an automated step to ensure precise matching of publications to authors from Scopus© (read more), the largest abstract and citation database for peer reviewed literature. In this phase we avoid adding mistaken publications by making precise matches and erring on the conservative side. We prefer to only include publications that we can confidently associate with you rather than potentially assign papers that you did not author. The next part of the process is a manual review of the computed profiles by Elsevier's trained quality management professionals. The quality management team manually reviews the assigned publications and matches other papers that may not have been assigned automatically in step 1.
While this two-step approach assures a very high level of quality, your input is always welcome to help us refine your profile.
